Roundtable is a forum for informal conversations between faculty, staff, and students. There is no pre-set agenda. At the beginning of each session we pick a topic and take it from there.

Roundtable started in the Fall of 2010 and is now convened twice a week. The fall 2012 Roundtables are hosted by Charles Bashaw and Lindsey Girard, the Champlain College Technology and Public Services Librarian.

Debrief from a recent Roundtable:

We re-affirmed that Roundtable and Speak Easy are a state of mind–a willingness to take the time to talk deeply, freely, reflectively and respectfully about whatever happens to be on our minds.

We spoke about spreading the word and getting more people involved and our dream of turning Champlain into an Agora of the Mind where the spirit of free inquiry reigns supreme.

Be there or be square.
