The Office of International Education in cooperation with The Vermont Council on World Affairs & the National Committee on U.S. China Relations will host the fifth annual China Town Hall, a national day of China-related programming, on Wednesday, November 16 during International Education Week.

This program will open with a webcast from Washington D.C. featuring Zbigniew Brzezinski who will discuss the current issues in Sino-American relations. National Committee president, Steve Orlins will moderate this portion of the program, comprised of a brief talk followed by time during which Dr. Brzezinski will respond to questions emailed in from audience members throughout the country.
Champlain College’s Assistant Professor Craig Pepin will continue the discussion with the local audience. Topics will include pollution, population dynamics, education and observations from his recent China travel experience.
In the past, fifty-three venues in 45 cities in the U.S. and China participated in the CHINA Town Hall event.
